Bonnie is looking for a new home that is active and not located in a busy town. Bonnie would prefer to be the only dog and her new owners must have experience with dogs. It also must have a garden and no flats, please.

Bonnie is very polite when welcoming people, she will ignore them if people are not interested but she will be excited and enjoy being petted if they are. Bonnie absolutely loves getting attention and being petted. She also really loves routine. She is intelligent and responds well to commands – Bonnie is really good at communicating what she needs or wants but also at understanding what her owners are saying to her.

Bonnie is sensitive around her mouth and front legs. She shows some resource guarding, for example if she finds something while on a walk, but this can tempted from her with treats. Generally on walks, Bonnie does not bother with other dogs and does not initiate play. She can be interested in chasing cats and other small animals such as squirrels. Bonnie generally walks well and does not pull on the lead. She can be good off-lead if there are no distractions.

Bonnie can be left for a few hours but is looking for a home she can have company most of the time as that is what she is used to. She barks at unfamiliar sounds.  Bonnie does not have a lot of experience travelling by car and has been sick on long, winding roads. She regularly goes to the groomer and has done well in boarding kennels.

Bonnie is a smart cookie who would thrive in a home where she can go on long walks and get her brain exercised with tricks and commands.

Please apply for Bonnie if you are ready to take on an intelligent and loving Cockapoo.
