Limpet is an adorable young boy looking for a new home where he can continue his training, have a garden to play in, and ideally have a companion for most of the day.

Limpet got his name as he likes to attach himself to you! He is really friendly with people in the house and outside, he loves attention. He does seem to prefer men. Limpet is good with children but not too many at once as he gets worried, so he could live with kids 10 years or older and if they are used to dogs. He loves people but does get overwhelmed if there are too many in the house. .

On walks, he is unsure of other dogs sometimes if they are off the lead due to a bad experience. But he has recovered well from the incident and still likes to say hello to other dogs and wants to play with them. He does not love being picked up and can growl. Limpet will growl to let you know when he doesn’t like something and is a real character. He does not like fireworks or the hoover. Limpet can bark when the door goes, or at foxes in the garden during the night. He would love to live somewhere in the country.

He can be left alone for a few hours but he is a lockdown puppy and experiences some separation anxiety. This has improved with training. Limpet wears a harness on walks and can pull on the lead, he is not good at being off-lead. His new owners should be willing to continue his training. He has stayed in kennels with no issues. He has not been to the groomers before but does not mind being brushed if treats are offered. He is quite smart and knows several tricks and learns quickly.

Limpet just wants to be around you all the time, playing and chasing toys. He has a lot of energy and is clever so would perhaps love doing an activity such as scent work.

Please apply for Limpet if you think you’d like to become joined at the hip with this little guy.
