Sweet Bear is looking for a new home with experience of dog training, where there is a garden to run around in and where he could have company through the day.

Bear is still young at just over a year old and is still learning manners and proper behaviours – he is very bouncy. Bear is excited to see people and will eventually settle after getting some attention. He loves attention so much he will run up to people to get it! Bear is good with children but due to his large size and being so bouncy, it would be ideal if his new home has children that they are 8 years and older.

On walks, Bear loves to play with other dogs. His recall is okay, he can take a few minutes to come back, but he does come back. He also pulls on the lead as he is so excited. These things will need to be worked on. Bear loves going in the car for great walks. He is happy to be washed and brushed. Bear has been scared of fireworks and thunder in the past but does not seem bothered about other noises outside the home.

He can be left for a few hours and does not seem to have separation anxiety. Bear is used to having a garden to play in and would love to have this in his new home – his favourite thing apart from attention is running around outside and playing with his toys. Bear responds well to commands and would benefit from learning tricks or a skill through agility or hoopers classes.

Bear is such a playful, affectionate, loving, young dog. He can be calm when he’s expended his energy. He would love an active family or owner(s) who will spend time training, playing and walking with him.

Please apply for Bear if you think he would be the perfect fit for your home.
