Lovely Frank is looking for a new home that has experience of Dachshunds. He would love a garden. No flats, please.

Frank is very happy to see people, he may bark excitedly, and he loves being petted and getting attention. He is good with strangers and children but has not lived with young kids before.

He can resource guard a bit with bones and toys and loves to pick items up in the street/house and may eat things – his favourite is socks. Frank wears a harness on walks and can pull on the lead. His recall needs work, but he is good in the car and enjoys a good walk – however he will pick up things from the ground.

With other dogs, Frank can be very playful and enjoys dog company, although he will tell them if he has had enough. He can be left alone for a few hours but has been destructive before. He is happy to be washed and brushed. When he goes to the groomer, he gets hand stripped.

Frank is happiest when he is walking and around people. He loves cuddles and lying in the sunshine. Frank has a nice temperament and just wants to have attention and go for a good walk.

If you think you have the right home for little Frank, please apply for him.
