Little Jack is looking for a patient and quiet new home where he can feel comfortable and safe. It would be great for Jack’s new owners to build his confidence. His new home should have a garden he can play in as he is quite an anxious boy and reactive towards other dogs.

Jack is very friendly with people. He can be unsure of strange children coming up to him but is friendly. Out and about, Jack is very reactive to other dogs. Jack is not great on the lead and his recall needs work.

He has separation anxiety and will forget his house training when left alone. He can also have little accidents when he gets very excited meeting people. This could be due to his current circumstances, but he will need to be reminded of his house training in his new home. Jack will bark at unfamiliar sounds and can’t really do stairs due to his small size, so it would be ideal if his new home had little to no stairs. He  needs lifted into cars as he is too small to jump. He is fine travelling in the car.

Jack is fine being washed and brushed and has behaved well at the groomers. He loves a hot water bottle in the winter. Jack loves cuddles and attention. He likes to play too, usually with cat toys because is so small! Jack is very strong-willed and knows what he wants. He is very sweet and cute as a button.

Jack is generally quite scared when outside as he is so small, but he could be the most loyal companion for a home that has the time and attention to give him. As well as loveable, he is quite sassy so Jack can be very entertaining.

If you think you have ideal calm home for Jack, please apply for him.
