Teddy is looking for a new home where he can have company most of the time and a garden to play in. His new home should be committed to continuing his training. Teddy loves going for long walks and is very social. No flats, please. Teddy would prefer a home in the countryside.

Teddy is very friendly with dogs and people. He is very excited to meet people and may jump up on children.

Teddy can be destructive with toys and possessive of them (also bones). He needs to learn to ‘swap’. Teddy is bright and would enjoy learning new things and already knows “sit, stay, come, down, leave it, wait, bed and no”. He can be very protective of his owner and will follow them around the home. Teddy can be left for a few hours but can become very unsettled if left alone for longer periods, he wants to be with his people.

On walks, Teddy will happily sniff and play around with other dogs. He wears a harness as he can pull on the lead. Teddy travels well in the car and loves going on walking adventures. Teddy’s recall is fairly good off-lead but would need to be re-enforced in a new environment.

Teddy has been to the groomers and is fine to be washed and brushed, but he does not like being dried. Teddy gets scared when the washing machine spins loudly.

Teddy loves playing catch, being outdoors and in the garden, going for long walks in the woods and getting lots of attention from everyone. He is a friendly, loving dog who enjoys attention, walks, playtime and being around people.

If you think you have the best loving, active and patient home then please apply for Teddy.
