We are a small impactful dog welfare charity established in 1956. The work of Dog Aid Scotland is vital to ensure Scotland’s dogs are well cared for and owners are appropriately supported in providing that care. Last year we had one of our busiest years ever. There had been no let-up in demand for assistance in 2024 through our main programmes, and we are seeing a huge increase in the number of people needing to rehome dogs due to financial pressures. In 2024 Dog Aid Scotland successfully assisted just over 900 dogs from all over Scotland which is a 55% increase on 2023.
